These terms describe the DocHeld website and the intended use of the DocHeld app. The website currently presents a product in development.
App licence
For a version distributed through the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a custom agreement is provided in that listing. These website terms do not replace that licence or mandatory consumer rights.
Your documents
You retain your rights in your documents. Only import material you are entitled to use. DocHeld does not acquire ownership of your documents. You are responsible for the documents you share with other apps or people.
Check the source
Recognition and generated answers may contain errors or omit information. Source links help you verify an answer; they do not certify its accuracy. DocHeld is not a substitute for legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
Keep separate copies
Do not use DocHeld as the only copy of an important document. The local library is not synchronized or included in iPhone backups. Device loss, app deletion or device failure can cause data loss.
Purchases
No app purchase is offered on this website. Any future in-app purchase is processed by Apple, with its price and conditions displayed before purchase. Refund requests for Apple purchases are handled through Apple. Announced launch plans may change before release.
Annual plan, trial and lifetime option
The planned annual subscription renews automatically unless you cancel through your Apple Account subscription settings. The price and renewal terms are shown before confirmation. If eligible for a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid renewal, subject to local rules. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. The lifetime option is a one-time purchase without recurring charges. When a subscription ends, existing indexed documents remain readable, searchable and exportable; new indexing and questions return to the free limits. Final purchase and restore options will be available in the app at launch.
Availability and changes
Features and device requirements shown before launch are plans, not a guarantee of availability. We may update the app and this website. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
