This policy distinguishes documents processed inside DocHeld from information handled when you visit this website or contact support. The responsible developer is identified below.
Documents and questions
DocHeld processes imported documents, recognized text, search indexes, questions and answers locally on your iPhone. These contents are not sent to the developer or a cloud AI provider. The app does not require a DocHeld account.
Device access
Camera access is used when you choose to scan. The system photo and file pickers provide the items you select. You can manage camera permission in iPhone Settings. Sharing or exporting a document is an explicit action you control; the destination app applies its own privacy policy.
Local storage and deletion
The library is stored on the device and excluded from iPhone backups. There is no iCloud library sync. Deleted documents remain in Recently Deleted for up to 30 days; expired items are purged when the app runs. Removing the app removes its local library. Keep original documents and separate copies: we cannot restore your local data.
Analytics and Apple services
DocHeld does not include advertising or third-party tracking SDKs. Apple may process App Store transactions and diagnostic information according to your Apple settings and its own privacy policy. The developer may receive diagnostics made available by Apple. Do not assume Apple services are covered by the same local-only guarantee as your document contents.
Website visits
The website has no document upload form, advertising trackers, analytics scripts or nonessential cookies. The hosting and security provider necessarily handles connection data such as IP address, request path, time, browser information and security events to deliver and protect the site. Its retention and processing are governed by its policies.
Support messages
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer and resolve your request. Please do not send sensitive documents. Support correspondence is kept only as needed to handle the request and meet applicable obligations. You may request deletion; any legally required retention will be explained.
Your choices and rights
You control local documents and device permissions. For information held by the developer, contact support to ask about access, correction or deletion, subject to applicable law. We cannot inspect or erase a library stored only on your device. We do not sell personal information or use document contents to train cloud models.

We will publish changes on this page and update its date. A material change to document processing requires an updated policy and any consent required by law. Contact details for the responsible developer appear below.
