Before calling your landlord
Find the contract end date and check the wording in the original.
Personal documents on iPhone
DocHeld keeps contracts, receipts and records on your iPhone. Search by words or meaning, ask a question, then check the answer on the original page.
Coming to the App Store
Not available to install yet. The button below opens an example — no account or document upload needed.
Checking a contract date often means finding the file, opening it and searching through pages. DocHeld brings storage, search and document questions into one personal library.
Find the contract end date and check the wording in the original.
Find a saved document by a word or reference number, then open it.
Select the document and ask for an explanation. It is labelled separately as a model explanation.
This sample contract contains a number, an expiry date and an amount. Switch questions to see an answer beside its source passage.
Example with a fictional contract
The contract gives an expiry date of 31 December 2026.
This is a prepared example, not live AI in your browser. It does not upload or process your documents.
On iPhone 17, we tested the path from a sample scan to an answer and its source page. These are actual screens from that run. The contract is fictional; the interface is still being refined.
Your document stays in the library. Return to it through search, a folder or a source link in an answer.
Import a file or photo, use the share menu, or scan with the camera. After processing, its text becomes searchable.
Enter a contract number, a word from a record, or a description of what you need. Rename documents and manage folders yourself.
Select a document for your question. Open the source page from the answer. The model can make mistakes, so check the original before an important decision.
Recognition, search and answers run on your iPhone. Your library contents and questions are not sent to the developer or a cloud model service.
The current build imports PDFs, images, text files, Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents. It also includes a camera scanner. An unsupported format can be stored, but its contents cannot be used for answers.
English, Russian and Hebrew are launch languages. The scan → question → source flow has been tested with sample documents in all three. Results on your own documents will depend on their text and scan quality.
Planned for launch: a free download with 15 indexed documents and 15 assistant questions. Scanning, folders, search, viewing and export remain free.
$19.99 / year
7 days free for users eligible for Apple’s offer. Then renews automatically until cancelled.
$39.99
One-time purchase of the full version, with no recurring charges.
These are planned USD prices. Apple will show local prices and terms before purchase. There is no payment on this site. When an annual plan ends, already indexed documents remain readable, searchable and exportable.
A release date has not been announced. The app is being tested. We will add a download button when the official App Store page is available.
The current target is iOS 26 or later. The complete illustrated flow has been tested on iPhone 17. The minimum supported model is still being determined; this is not a promise of support for every iPhone running iOS 26.
Questions about documents are processed on the device. Installing and updating the app, Apple purchases and opening the support website need an internet connection.
No. The assistant works with your document library. If it finds no relevant information, it reports that no answer was found. A term explanation is available for a selected document and is labelled separately as a model explanation.
We do not store a copy of your library. Keep originals or separate copies before deleting the app or changing phones.
In iPhone Settings, open your name → Subscriptions → DocHeld. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. To avoid continuing after a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, subject to your region’s rules.
Explore the example above: the question, answer and source passage appear together. You do not need to provide any files.
