DocHeld is being built around local processing. Reading, search and document questions run on your iPhone. Your library is not sent to a cloud AI service.
Planned support for scans, photos, PDFs, text, Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents. Russian, English and Hebrew are launch languages.
Planned for launch: free scanning, folders, search, viewing and export, with 15 indexed documents and 15 assistant questions. Choose an annual full-version plan ($19.99/year) or a one-time lifetime purchase ($39.99). Eligible users can try the annual plan free for 7 days.

Document reading, search and answers are designed to work on your iPhone. Downloading the app, Apple purchases and visiting support pages need an internet connection.
The library is excluded from iPhone backups and does not sync to iCloud. Keep original documents and save separate copies of anything important.
No. Text recognition and AI can make mistakes. Always check the cited original, especially before financial, legal or medical decisions.
The current development target is iOS 26 or later. The minimum supported iPhone and final language coverage will be confirmed before release.
